Title : "Accuracy Assessment of Single-Beam Hydrographic Data Based on IHO-S44 Standards through Control Line Analysis"
Problem:
A single-beam hydrographic operation with the main feature of the depth survey at a distance of ten meters and control lines at a distance of 50 meters perpendicular to the main lines was carried out in 5 working days with two boats and different equipment. The necessary information was saved in the hydrDATA.xyz file after applying the necessary corrections.
-
- Calculate the difference between the main and control lines statistically for the standard deviation RMSE (95% probability), the average of the differences, the number of intersections, the maximum and minimum differences, the arithmetic mean and the mean absolute value of the differences. The intersection of the main and control depths is examined within a radius of 2 meters.
- Show the difference in depths (main and control) at the intersections graphically.
- Draw the distribution diagram of the differences (frequency histogram) and state which statistical distribution it is close to? State the components of the statistical distribution (standard deviation s and theoretical mean µ).
- Indicate which hydrographic standard (IHO-S44 hydrographic standard) the depth finding accuracy is closest to.
