Official Guidelines for Oral Presentation 

All oral presentations must be delivered in person during their assigned session. Presenters are requested to strictly follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and professional session.

1. Registration and Presenter Information

    1. For each accepted paper, the corresponding author must register and notify the conference secretariat via email (geospatial.conf@ut.ac.ir) regarding the designated presenting author.
    2. Co-authors who wish to attend the conference must register separately.

2. Presentation File Requirements

    1. All presenters must prepare their slides using the official Oral presentation template provided by the conference committee, which can be found here.
    2. Use clear fonts, high-resolution graphics, and color schemes that maintain high contrast and readability.

3. Recommended Presentation Structure

At minimum, the presentation should include the following components:

             a. Title Slide

      • Research title
      • Name(s) and affiliation(s) of author(s)
      • Contact email of the presenting author

             b. Introduction

      • Background of the study
      • Problem statement and objectives

           c. Methodology

      • Dataset and study area (if applicable)
      • Techniques, algorithms, or workflow used

           d. Results and Discussion

           e. Conclusion

      • Main contributions
      • Limitations (optional)
      • Suggestions for future work (optional)

          f. Acknowledgments (optional)

          g. References (only if needed on final slide)

4. Presentation Timing and Delivery

  1. Total presentation time: 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A (or according to the final program).
  2. Speakers must arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of their session to upload and test their slides.
  3. All presentations will be run from the conference laptop; personal laptops cannot be used unless approved in advance.
  4. Presenters should maintain clear speech, appropriate pace, and professional demeanor.

5. Technical Considerations

  1. Ensure all videos, animations, or special fonts are embedded in the presentation file.
  2. Bring a backup copy of the file on a USB flash drive.

 

Information regarding session chairs, venue details, and the final technical program will be provided soon on the conference website.

Note: Only the final paper of each oral presentation will be published in the ISPRS Archives or Annals provided that the designated presenter delivers the talk in person according to the official conference schedule.
